Install
Wireless — about two minutes per door
- Open the door and wipe the flat underside of the door panel clean and dry.
- Peel the backing off the light.
- Press it firmly onto the underside of the door, pointing straight down at the ground.
- Close and open the door. The light turns on by itself.
No tools and no wiring. The battery is replaceable. Fits any car.
Wired — replaces the light already in your door
- Find the small courtesy light in the bottom edge of your door panel.
- Gently pry it out with a plastic trim tool.
- Unplug the factory bulb holder and plug in the DYUHOP light.
- Push the new light into the same opening until it clicks.
No cutting and no splicing — it uses the connector already in your door. Your vehicle needs a factory door courtesy light for this to fit, which is why we ask for your year, make and model at checkout.
Tesla
Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X each have a version built for that door, so there is no trimming or shimming. Pick the version that matches your car.
Aiming the projection
The image is sharpest on flat ground about 60–80 cm below the light. If the projection looks soft, make sure the light points straight down rather than out to the side.
Still stuck?
Email xcsniffy@gmail.com with your vehicle and a photo of the door and we will walk you through it.
